fountain update: first water test failed, bottom of provided basin gave out. good news: sculpture held, pump and hose worked great while the basin held water. weekend solution: get a new basin but go build something else first while making profane utterances about basins because seriously, fuck basins.

i’ve spent all day fighting with the water feature pump and a thermos (it’ll make sense eventually) but the good news is that after many profanities i won (perhaps only a battle and not the war, tbd) and this commission is heading into the final stretch and oh thank fuck
