Pressing forward: the nonfic comics thing is back – in a wildly different form – but I'll write more about that in this weekend's MacroParentheticals; fascinating experiment to write it AND write my process for a presentation. Opens up new avenues of thought.

Other things: great meal with great friends last night, laughs etc. Still feel human, blood sugar indicates otherwise, but that’s still the doublejab / lack of run on comaday doing its thing.

Five days of conelife remain; the day awaits.

I never tire of that moment when something goes in a totally different direction than expected – down to the nuts and bolts of the process – and comes alive in a way you never imagined: if you get out of its way, the work takes you where it needs to go.

Human again: doublejab-reaction has passed, blood sugar normal. Moderate frustration as yesterday was the first beautiful day in awhile and I couldn't run while today has returned to the blergh-rain and I have to run lest my blood sugar go batshit for another week and piss off my endo more than he's already going to be on Wednesday. Such is life.

Had to say farewell (at least until a fix is in or my stupidity is confirmed) to the writing app that felt like home. Back to Obsidian for awhile. Spent part of the morning writing an email to makers of said app, hopefully will know more soon. Love Obsidian, but I do miss the spatial thinking and being able to move text around on a canvas.

Speaking of farewells: wrapped up the final season of GOLIATH. I'll miss every one of those characters - but at least each got a more-than-satisfying sendoff.

Rest of the morning spent coming up with a script/thumbnails for an upcoming guest lecture. Script deadline Tuesday, guest appearance Thursday. Writing how I'm creating it while I'm creating it for a presentation. Starting to make sense, somewhat. Dog-child sustenance then back to work.

Six days of conelife remain.
