While results aren't fully known and won't be until a week from Monday, the first part of my annual wellness exam went fine – even memory, surprise, surprise. Upon return home, I tore into the hour-late post-fast omelete and MG Cheerios (with almond milk) with verve. Aplomb, even.

Newsletter people: I'm conducting a two-fold test this weekend. One, if my DNS cesspool work this week paid off and two, if I like dispatching weekly again. The latter, I've found, I do (AM bloodsugar was fine so this wasn't a hyperglycemic mental fuckery). the former TBD.

Dogchildren drifting in and out in a heartlandic fog. Frosty kickball with Kirbs – and the day – awaits.

Late posting yesterday, early this morning. Balance balance. Sitting in the doctor’s office parking lot, part one of the yearly physical inbound: grip, breathe, bleed, walk, etc etc. Fasting bit more than a bit difficult as teh T1D is craving its breakfast. Random observation: people drive faster in the morning; I felt like a doddering retiree at my comfortable nine-miles-over the speed limit so as to avoid a potential reckless driving ticket. Time to grip, breathe, bleed, etc; the day - and breakfast - rest on the other side of this revolving door.

No it’s not morning but I’m writing this blathering here to get the train back on track from combo of a stupid urge to change too many things (which ended up back to how it all was anyhow) and tree-felling preparations resulting in a morning thrown into disarray. Addition of the * to make it clear, if only for myself, that this was a CYA entry - but, to bastardize a line from Madonna in DICK TRACY, It’s got to be morning somewhere. (What’s left of) the day awaits.
