After my hopes rose when the music stopped and were dashed when it started again / "looking to get a flu shot or Covid-19 vaccine? Due to high demand an appointment is recommended; schedule one online at.... looking to get a flu shot or –"/ I have spoken with the pharmacy and, after listening to far more typing than talking, the refill which I ordered Friday last – which is a box on a shelf, two boxes on a shelf, and has been since its invention – will be ready this afternoon because, while I get that it's a stressful time in pharmacy-land – and, judging by the number of "Phamacy call" pleadings from the automated man in the background I'm far from alone in my woes here – it apparently takes one five days to bend over, pick up two boxes, stuff them in what looks like a Chinese food take-out bag and staple a thing to them and by five days I mean four days, twenty-three hours, and fifty five-minutes to prepare to pick up the box and five minutes to have it ready; the day awaits.

Other than a few things – potential of another autoimmune disorder (go rheumatoid arthritis) in its early stages being most prominent – my "wellness exam" found that I am mostly well. And human; I am well, then, until I am not... on further Well fronts: AnotherFictionThing took on a life of its own this morning and is barreling forward until it crashes into the wall of myself. As it usually does – well, well, well, then; the day awaits.

Made it through another Sunday now to make it through the "Wellness Exam" which only moderately terrifies me. Not like I haven't been going to doctors for several years but that's been... different. Endocrinology / T1D management more of a "here's what to do you, you're on your own, I'll help when you need it" vs. "here's everything actually wrong with you give me more blood." Or it will be fine. Probably will be / the day awaits; let the examination commence (at 1330, give or take).
