buddy horse(!)

AC crashed out last night and we were on repair tech call watch from 0800 on so, while I usually make it a point to not have my phone with me on my run, today I did. Fortunately that means I a.) snapped a picture of and b.) get to write something about Buddy Horse, Buddy Horse being a recent arrival, the engine of an Amish family who moved into a house that once had Joy, the coon hound whom I returned home a number of times, as its guard.

Now that we’ve become acquainted, Buddy Horse runs alongside me as I pass his pasture most mornings, between OCD pacings on his loop and indulging in some hay; I often get a happy nod when I call out, BUDDY HORSE! – and yes, if I drive past him I shout it from the trucklet. Drive by BUDDY HORSE-ing.

Note: might check with his humans if it’s ok if I give him the herding ball I bought Kirby that’s way too big for the backyard and for Kirby, give him something to do, another repetitive task to add to his Buddy Horse OCD oeuvre.
