All rooms, save front room, are clear. Mattresses and sawed up / scrapped entertainment centers go out tomorrow. Shed work and garage finishing also this weekend. Oh, right, final vacuuming and cleaning also this weekend; I reek of Oxi-Clean: it pervades my pores and my person.
Fridge and upright freezer are gone: the last of the potential back-breaking appliance lifting is complete; the end, she is nigh.
Bags 5-8: Lego assembly has become something of a tradition for my wife and I on her Christmas break: we set aside sets accumulated throughout the year and binge-assemble them over a two-week chunk before she goes back to educating the demon spawns in the new year. For what it’s worth, this set is really remarkable; easily one of my favorite builds.

Wind chill advisory run update: frigid and short but enjoyable and required for sanity. Also saw some jackass in a tricked-out, climate-slaughtering, smokestacks-for-exhaust pickup spin out in the middle of the highway so that was neat.
Weather report: still fucking cold.
I have three Christmas traditions: listen to Bob Dylan's Christmas album because it's the best Christmas album ever; watch THE MADAGASCAR PENGUINS CHRISTMAS CAPER short (yes, Rico, ka-boom); and.... ok, I guess I have two Christmas traditions. But they're brilliant.
