SHADOW PLAYS (LIVE AT KONZERTHAUS, WIEN / 2020), by Craig Taborn.
Back into the rhythm with MainFicThing after a week away and a disastrous return yesterday. Reached the organizing /wrangling stage – too early perhaps – but things are coming together: figuring out what it needs, what it wants from me. At least for today. MainFicThing is, like all FicThings or AnyThings, fickle until the bitter end.
Still working with Muse, trying to replicate the text vanishing bug: shows how much I love this app that I'm willing to lose material to make it work in the longterm. Working in it is so different; it is working in a way that is OF the iPad... one I had hoped to find, didn't realize I was looking for. Still, have to get the text vanishing worked out – but I've started making my own backups of the day's main work, so that helps add a bit of mental security.
(Still can’t add links via iPadOS app, Squarespace…)
Blood sugar fix seems to have helped. Continuing green trends – hopefully without yesterday's pre-run crash, first in five years. And so the games continue. Dogchildren sustenance then back to work; the day - of chainsaws – awaits.

KID A remains fucking brilliant.
UArk conversation with a blank screen went well, in spite of the blank screen. Dogchildren were present, The Morkie made an appearance – but yes, it was an hour to a blank screen because of some technical thing. But, in a weird way, it wasn't as bad as I was worried it might be: sort of reminded me of my music performance days of yore, up on a stage, couldn't see the audience. But hell, I rolled with it and hoped that I didn't look as blank as the screen looked to me.
Re: MainFicThing: What's the holdup? What's the block? Have to figure that out before I can figure out how to get around it. Seems less a block and more an absence. Organizing too soon? Does it want to be more? Does my ambition require amplification? There's something – and I can't put my finger on it.
The DogChildren – a cone-free Kirby among them – require sustenance; the day awaits.
Cone-free and life is grand.
